Now I know that onboard computer isn't reliably accurate. However I've got a 2017 2.0 TDI 150bhp B9 AVANT and this is what's been happening. Fill the car with usually £50 of diesel. Reset the trip computer. Onboard computer calculates the fuel will last 600 miles. I'm normally only getting closer to 450 - 480 miles before it's empty. My main question is.. How does the onboard computer calculate the distance? Does it work it out from your CURRENT LONG TERM values? Which for me is around 49mpg Can members (with preferably similar vehicles) please tell me their usual MPG and distance drivable on similar fuel filling?

I'd like to update the firmware. Ive tried doing this via My Audi with my PIN but just get a message saying ERROR ACCESSING UPDATE SERVER. I have software version 0148 on my 2017 B9. I'm curious to know what the latest non Virtual Cockpit version is and how to install it.

I've got sat nav on mine.

Sometimes when I want to adjust the AUDIO volume, it comes up with VOICE CONTROL volume on the MMi screen and the AUDIO volume can't be adjusted. Has anyone else had a similar problem or know how to switch between the two? TIA

Getting newly acquainted with my 2016 B9 Avant. It came with an IPhone MMI cable. I have an android phone and my question is this... What's the difference between connecting with a data cable to the USB socket in the centre console and using Android Auto and using a cable via the MMI port?

Is it worth buying? Can you do many worthwhile setting changes or is mainly for clearing faults and error codes?

Any pics please? Picking mine up next week. And I do like the thought of no chrome.
