    You're right, Gareth. The customary reaction - to buy a new one - seldom is wise ! With two drops of WD40, the glass came to the top ! Some resistance is preventing the motor to do its job ... Thanks. Fernando

    Thanks, Gareth. In fact, some force is needed to do what the motor now does ... But it does not succeed to close completely... I'll try EBay.

    My car is an AUDI A3 8L, gasoline, 1.6 liter, from 2000. I have the problem of, after lowering the glass it does not get up. I have tried to get a new motor but, apparently, Audi does not have it in stock. (A friend of mine has already disassembled the door, tried the motor and says "it's dead"). Where can I buy, even used, another motor ? Can anyone give me advice, please ? Thanks
