Thanks Gareth, I’ve tried GSF so far, they’ve said they are having difficulty obtaining parts. My A4 is registered on a 66 plate but is the latest model so Audi tell me. I’ve found this on eBay and waiting on confirmation from the supplier if it will fit. thanks

Thanks. I took my car to Culver MOT centre and went through the forum information with them and they agreed to change it. Only problem was at the time they couldn’t source the part on its own due to the demand and it being on back order from Audi. Managed to get it with the pipes attached for an extra £50. At least I got it done. Surely it should be on immediate recall judging by the amount of posts on here over last few days.

Apparently it is an easy fix. Unclip the existing sensor and replace. me being not mechanically gifted got the garage to do it. now I’ve seen how simple it is I could have done it.

When I had mine done week or so ago, the garage said the sensors were on back order but couldn’t say how long they would take. I paid extra to have the sensor and the pipe, surprisingly it came following day. Sensor fitted and back to normal. Could you go down a similar route?

Must be a very common fault as the parts are on back order. £170 including VAT for sensor and connectors including fitting. Also need two batteries for the key remotes😕😖

Thanks all, I’m in the garage tomorrow with it. Haven’t used it since Friday when I had to drive home from Bridgend to Cardiff. Only just had the thing serviced as well!!!
