just fitted a new fuel filter revs as sweet as before problem cheap option first before paying for garage investigations.

had a engine run problem last year trouble starting new injectors erg valve and other bits turned out to be a rag in duct next to turbo removed all was fine the van had been hunting at idle for a year before the loss of power and not starting. But that said my fault is lumpy erratic power from the engine/transmission and not wheel balance issue.

hi all I have a A4 Advent s-line that runs very lumpy once going over 3000 revs. Have put fuel cleaner in tank but makes no difference and the symptom is getting worse. A local garage put the car through a diagnostic test but this showed nothing being flagged. the car drives smoothly at speed but only if you take it steady to get there. any ideas please
