  1. Thank you for the reply, that is a relief. I dont know if it has always been like this because I'm much more sensitive about what the car does after I changed the wheel bearing myself. Kinda oversensitive due to fear of having done something wrong. But kinda feels like it has become some what hardere. The brake is hard usually in the morning when going to work and when leaving from work. So 8+hours parking.
  2. Hi, I had some issues with abs/esp so ended up changing abs sensors and 1 wheel bearing rear left. After that solved the issue I got the issue thay the break is hard before starting the car after it has been off for some hours. This is the same as when you pump the break with the engine off. When Im turning the engine on the break loosens up and as long as the engine is on the break works as normal. No problem with them. And when turning off again, they are okay for 1 hour+(have not checked more than 1 hour). What could be the issue and what can I do to fix?
  3. Changed the cheap sensor to a good one and it's fixed. So the problem was the sensor
  4. Ahhh I understand what you mean and for hall trigger sensors it makes sense. However I believe I have a reluctor ring which generates an AC signal relative to the speed. Added the picture of the wheel bearing I changed (the issue with that wheel is sorted). And the sensor I added on the wheel that makes the problem now has as since I installed it show double speed. But I will try to change the sensor and see if that does the trick.
  5. But will that makes it show double? I would understand if less, but damage to make it pick up twice the speed sounds strange? I did have some problem with the reluctor ring on a different wheel that I had to change, that one showed less and sometimes jumped to zero.
  6. Hi, Have the abs fault 00287, sporadic implausible signal. Had live data which shows the speed output of the rear right is twice of any other sensors. I suspect the double speed is the reason for the fault. But I cannot determine what cause it. Ive changed abs sensor recently. Have anyone of you seen this before and/or know how i should go on troubleshooting this issue?
  7. Thank you both for the replies😃 I've tried a little and I'm left with 3 errors. 00290, 00285 and 00283. Front left, front right, rear left. sporadic 003-mechanical failure. While doing live datalogging I can see that front sensors show the same (stable and consistent with speed). Rear left is unstable and jumps from 0 to same as front wheel. Rear right shows the double of front wheel (but is stable). I think maybe rear left is somehow "loosing the signal" since it's jumping. But I really can't understand the double speed on the rear right. What can cause the wheel speed read out to become double?
  8. Hi, Got some issues with my car that I cannot figure out what is. Please see the added pictures. I have tried changing all the sensors and I dont know what to do next. Ive previously had it at a mechanic who said he couldn't understand much because couldn't find problem with the ring measuring the speed. He suspected that there might be a abs control module fail. But he was really not sure. Anyone had any similar experience? Any help would be appreciated =)
