Guys I know this may be sad, but I have just cleaned her and now she is all shiny in the sunshine, I really love how good she looks, I find my self looking at my drive thinking how lovely she looks and feeling good that I am lucky enough to own such an amazing car.

Took my car for a test drive after finding water in engine bay fuse box, and leaving a 30mph in 5th engine went out of control full revs, tons of black smoke but managed to get it into layby and turn off
Don't think you will have killed the engine but electrics are another matter... if it was my car I would dry out the fuse box thoroughly and use contact cleaner on the fuses and relays, find how the water is getting in and stop it. Water and electrics are never a good mix

Thanks for your reply, any pics ?
I love my quattro always was a jaguar man but my new love is audi's can genuinely say its the nicest driving car I've ever owned and I've had a lot of high performance cars including xk's and a couple porsches it just hugs the road like its glued to it, ive found everyone on here to be very friendly and helpful too, specially with some of the silly things I ask about

Hello to everyone, I’m Gaz from Liverpool and recently got my 1st ever Audi at the age of 59 ! I’m calling it an early 60th birthday present to myself.😂😂. My car is a 2007 A6 3.0 tdi Quattro, 62000 genuine one owner miles with a full service history. In stunning condition inside and out. Fell in love with it as soon as I drove it, handling and performance are amazing. Haven’t figured out all the gadgetry etc… but that will come in time. Nice to meet and talk to other owners on this great site. 👍
Lovely car I got my first ever audi at 47 a few weeks ago and I'm absolutely loving it too

One of my keys is in need of a new battery do I simply put a new cr032 in and place key in ignition or is their some complicated reprogramming ritual I need to follow like on my jag, this is my first audi and I'm a bit lost

Hi
thank
if it’s possible it’s the switch I’ll try that
car has recently been re gassed
i live in Scotland so it’s not a big problem if I can’t get it going 😂
cheers
Mark
Haha you will get 1 or 2 days a year that are hot pmsl, its the rain and cold that makes the scenery so amazing

The wheel arch spacings will be the same across the a3 range but with a 1.4 engine you'll lose start and low speed acceleration due to the increase in wheel size but wouldn't imagine it would be really significant

Hope this is useful

Hi Gareth have uou tried autodoc I have purchased numerous things for my slk and a couple of bits for my a5

I have pirelli 19s on my a5 and the ride is still comfortable and with the quattro system The wall height on the tyres make the grip feel even more awesome I can live with the occasional pot hole causing me to bounce in the seat compared to the handling and sporty feel I get with the 19s, just make sure you buy decent tyres and not budget if you really want to enjoy the ride

It certainly is but I'm loving all the toys in this audi so it's Windows closed, always wanted an a5 and now I have one I just keep looking at it thinking it's so pretty, (yes I'm aware I am a very sad human being pmsl)......

The only way it can get in is at the back assuming the lense isn't cracked etc. You'll have to remove the headlight to gain full access to the rear abd then shake it out.
Thanks I was hoping I wouldn't need to take the light out lol

Well having suffered in the heat yesterday thought I would take my lady to be regassed, still in the new toy mode and driving it whenever I can, the slk is sulking on the drive lol

Go to a professional remapper with a rolling road and they'll e able to increase power and known how much the gearbox can take. The likes or darkside developments or Revo are a good bet.
Thanks

Recently bought an Audi A4 2.0 TDI 170 Quattro Manual on an 09 plate. The car has done 164k miles so it’s not exactly low however Iv had an issue since, when the car is both cold and warm it shakes on idle.
There is no smoke, loss of power or warning lights, in fact it moves quick. However it shakes a little and sometimes feels like a shudder, anyone have any idea what it could be?
Thanks
Zee
Mass airflow sensor maybe
Still loving my audi

I didn't realise there was something happening is it a local gathering or a national thing. Betting there will be some really spectacular models and classics to drool over
