Im after a set of reasonably priced used Brushed aluminium door trim strips for the interior door panels of a 2010 A3 5 door sport back.They must be in excellent unmarked condition.A pair for the front doors would help as starters. Any out there?

I have a 2010 A3 sportback 5 door.For some time my rear right door lock has been playing up.It wont unlock with the fob but will do so using the interior handle.It will relock ok with the fob. The rear left door started acting up the same but now will neither lock nor unlock with fob and wont open using the interior handle.Anyone any ideas? Ive tried lubricating the locks but doesn't help.

Forgot to mention....i was told continued use in protection mode could cause turbo failure....is this scaremongering?

Ihave a 2010 A3 1.6tdi sportback with 73000 miles on the clock. The diesel particulate filter light came on and i used the recommended method to clear it.When the warning light went out the 2 engine management lights came on ..one flashing coil and the static amber light.The car went into safety mode. Local garage put it on computer but doesnt have access to a code to clear the lights and reccharge it. One source recommended having the particulate filter removed and engine remapped so problem will not occur again. Anyone any ideas....im going to have it on a specialists computer but what can cause this ? Whats the opinion on the removal idea? Any comments or experiences would be welcome Alan

I have a 2010 A3 1.6tdi.......great car but have a problem. Remote locking key no 2 has new battery and light flashes but nothing happening on car. Key no 1 was working normally but suddenly stopped working. Light on key flashes and lights on car flash with noise as if locking is trying to work. Only front door locks or unlocks using either key manually.So I cant secure the car other than front door. I know that I may need 2 new keys...they do give up, but why the problem manually locking/unlocking with keys??? Cant use the car without being able to secure it so need urgent solution...anyone any ideas??
