The warning light covers numerous problems the dpf light might not come on if it’s not blocked it may need regenerating but the problem is exactly the same as mine we took ours to Audi Central just outside Birmingham and they sorted the problem and it was the sensor I have mentioned and our warranty covered it Audi Central are not a dealership but specialise in Audi VW and Skoda and they do all our work

We had the same problem and it turned out to be the exhaust emission sensor I think their are 3 but diagnostics don’t tell you which one so trial and error I would get a diagnostics check did you get a warranty with the vehicle

Hi we had the same problem and ours was the motor only the roof would unlock lift slightly then nothing a garage in Birmingham did ours and they supply and fit the motors as audi will do the same but they will include hydraulics which wasn’t needed can give you the garage and number but not the cost because our seller paid for it as the fault occurre the day after we purchased it

What is the best way of removing pitting on the chrome surrounds to the windscreen etc

Also try Audi Central for repairs and servicing excellent specialists

We’ve got a warranty on our Audi A3 TDI through Warranty Solutions excellent company never had a problem and they sort out claims within hours

We are using Shell V Power Diesel and also using a well known make of DPF cleaner every third tank and adding Diesel System Cleaner every two weeks our Audi is an A3 Cabriolet 2Litre TDI 20014 with 60000 miles on the clock and full Audi service history and the car runs lovely and we are getting more miles to the gallon

Hi I would just like to recommend a garage on the out skirts of Birmingham that are brilliant they are called Audi Central are are down the road from The Fort Shopping Centre . Their staff are excellent and are truly knowledgeable.

What would you suggest to clean the aluminium surround to the screen and hood as it looks a little pitted

Hi central locking working great except on the filler cap have to open manually any ideas

AA came out today and told me the engine temp sensor which has been fitted is possibly in correct that’s why it is calling for a system upgrade and also pdf filter light came on but not blocked and the coil light flashing because sensor not recognised can somebody shed some light car is an A3 2litre TDI S cabriolet
