  1. Thanks for the welcome - just in after driving the car - smooth, comfortable but I dare not stop until I got home ;-(
  2. Yes, no codes. the AA guy hadworked for an Audi garage and said it was a common "no code fault" - reset the relays and it would start. Its my wife's car and.... I need to find a solution soon 😉
  3. Hi All, New to the forum but not to Audi's. We currently have an A4 Cabriolet 2008 owned it for almost 3 years now and still enjoying it.... But.... Found this forum after doing a web search for a fault on the car - looking forward to being a member BTW, the fault has shown no codes at the dealers but the AA man (been there in the car park waiting for him) showed me where to BANG the box under the bonnet with the ECU resides and it would start again. We have had our share of banging and now we have to to take the lid off and push relays fuses and it may start, if not we keep pushing.... whatever. Great car, on rails at corners but we are fearful every time we go to start it up...... The 'happy home' is under pressure 😉
  4. Thanks, always wondered how we were going to manage if it stuck
