When she got the car it was fitted with 18 alloys she never really liked them but put up with them because they were on the car. last week she kerbed one and damaged it, the guy at the tyre fitters said it's fubar, and they are cheap copies. he said he had some genuine Audi Alloys but they were 17's so she got them fitted. That's the reason for the thread.

Earthing is ok, will the headlights not work properly if they are aftermarket ? Or is there something else going on ?

Sorry it's been a while but not had access to the car. the car. There is no stickers on the headlamps, so I think they are aftermarket. The main Beam will flash when the side lights are on, and when the switch is in the off position. But when switched to Automatic they will not come on but the Blue warning light comes on in the instrument panel.

The main beam is not working on Audi A3 S line, also the " Head lamp flasher" is not working. I have been told it's because the wrong head lamp's have been fitted. Can any one tell me is this is a possible cause and if so which head lamps do I need. Thank You.

I bought a spare key with all the right numbers on it from ebay with the intention of getting it programmed. But the guy said it was blocked and could not do it. How can I get it unblocked ?

Just parked the car, but now the steering wheel wont budge so i cant get the steering lock off. Is there anything I can do, I think the problems relate to the Indicator repeater in the R/H door mirror.

Hi. Right Turn repeater in Door mirror wont work when turning, but it flashes when I unlock, the car it don't flash when I lock the car, but will flash when I unlock it. If I relock without opening the door it will flash. I know it's a bit confusing but can anyone tell me what fuse to check. Thank You.
