There are two sensors with part numbers 03L 906 051B fitted on my 2016 Audi A6. So, I have ordered these two 03L906051B pressure sensors, and hopefully next weekend will try to replace both the DPF pressure sensor and I believe the other is the EGR pressure sensor. I noticed that one sensor (the one in front), which I presume is the EGR sensor, has one hose connected, and the other hose is just hanging and not connected to anything. The picture is not very clear, but that hose I have marked is not going anywhere. Should the other side of that hose be going somewhere?
  2. HI, Could you tell me where this pressure sensor is located? I have also a 2016 A6 Tdi, and giving me similar problems and I have been told it possibly could be that pressure sensor that is giving the ECU false readings about the DPF.

Thanks Audisq - I thought the 'Particle filter differential pressure' was the the pressure reading sensor. I will look again to see any other 'pressure' reading I can monitor. Where is this pressure sensor?

The last regen according to Carly happened about 250 miles ago. Last week went on a long motorway drive and I noticed Carly reporting the 'Particle filter measured soot mass' going down to 0g and then below 0g it starts showing around 650g! When regen is complete, the dpf light goes off and idling now revs at 850 rpm. The Particle filter differential pressure sits at around 120 hPa at 70 mph and drops to around 50 as I slow down to 50 mph. Given this, would this mean that the DPF is regenerating successfully and the fault might be the pressure switch? Where is this pressure switch located?

O dear, that is not good! Thanks for looking this up

You forgot the link - would like to read about the mapping. Mapping was done about a year ago, and has been running fine since. I did the mapping because the ad blue mileage was counting down, even though I had topped it up. I was assured by the specialist it was safe and will not affect the rest of the car. The dpf light coming on shortly after long journeys was there before the mapping - though now the period is shorter.

Thanks for getting back. So why is it trying to do a regen when the measure ash is only 5g? A garage did a remap to disable adblue - could this pose an issue? I will check when the last dpf regen was done (reports in km and can't find a way to set it in miles yet).

I have a 2016 Audi A6 TDi. My DPF filter light comes on just 2 or 3 days after a long journey. The live data from Carly shows the measured ash volume around 10g falling down to 5g as I am driving, the calculated value is around 20g - everything seems to be within range and I don't know why the dpf filter light still comes on. I have also noted that normally the idling speed is just under 900 rpm, and when the idling speed is closer to 1000 rpm, I know that very soon after my DPF light is going to come on. Data from Carly suggests the dpf is not clogged up, so what is causing the DPF light to come on? What other parameters should I be monitoring? I can post picture of the data values I am monitoring.
