Went with your suggestion of Yara Ad Blue Steve. PSA for anyone following, Halfords have 3 x pouch’s for £19.98 at the moment. Got the dash message to add ‘at least’ 6 litres within 1500 miles yesterday so I’m already 2 down. I have done about 1000 miles in a couple of weeks so I’ll be interested to see how much I’m using.

I’ll be paying on the door too Steve. £20 as per-booking has been and gone. 🤞 for good weather now as wandering around a field has less appeal when it’s raining. 😉

Is anyone going? I saw that Steve Q had posted about it in the Midlands forum but there weren’t any replies. I have a free day Sunday and it’s only a couple of hours away so I’m thinking of going along and getting seeing what’s what. Have been to a fair few VW meets in the past. Should I be expecting a similar vibe? Will post some photos in the relevant bit if I end up attending.

I have just changed from a 2.0D 180 Mondeo to a 2.0D 190 Ultra A4 Avant. I’m getting 62MPG on average in Efficiency mode. That’s about 7MPG more than the Ford. I do 5-600 miles a week so it has to be diesel for me.

My (new to me) A4 has the 190 TDI ultra engine. Just wondering if there’s a favoured brand of Ad Blue to use and if I should add 5 litres per 5k miles or just wait for the warning and add 10 litres then? Planning to buy a filler/spout if that’s a sensible thing to do or can I just make do with the one that comes with the Ad Blue itself? Have seen a few posts about re mapping if the system itself fails but will cross that particular bridge if and when it happens.

Hi everyone, new member with a (new to me) A4 Avant. Will get a photo up soon(ish) and be searching for answers to the stuff I can’t find in the owners handbook over the next few days.
