  1. Hoping someone can help. One of my rear parking sensor is no longer working and after a quick search online I found to buy a replacement sensor is very inexpensive. What I couldn’t find is any instructional video or forum post showing how to replace one. Can anyone point me in the direction of where I might find one? And is this a fairly doable project for a novice with some common sense?
  2. Thanks for the input Steve. I’m getting the clutch looked at Thursday next week. If the issue was the durl mass flywheel wouldn’t I hear a sound when the car engine is idling rather than at the biting point before the gears engage?
  3. The car is Audi A3 1.4 TFSI S line of that is of any use. Any help at all would be appreciated?
  4. Hi There, In need of some advice. I have a strange rubbing sound (almost sounds like a windscreen wiper blade) when on the biting point between low gears and from neutral to reverse. It doesn’t happen all the time and I can stop it happening with a clean gear change but if I’m riding the clutch a bit on a hill for example the rubbing sound starts. I can stop it immediately by putting foot on the accelerator or pressing the clutch down further. The sound is essentially happening just as the gear engages and not every time only if I riding the accelerator and clutch at the same time. I’ve tried reading other posts and the closest thing I can find is a glazed or dusty clutch plate? Does this sound right? Or low transmission fluid? Pretty sure it’s not a bearing as doesn’t happen when clutch is fully pressed or depressed… Any help or ideas of what it could be would be much appreciated! Thanks
