  1. I’ve just had front disc’s and pad’s changed on my Q8 by the RAC they come to you they threw in brake fluid change, air con refresh full set of Bosch wiper blades and 2 key batteries they used Audi parts that won’t affect your warranty and the price around 45% cheaper than the dealership 👍
  2. Congratulations Jon, why your local dealership put you through this stress God knows they surely must have been aware but you got there in the end . Luckily for me it seems Audi Sheffield was aware of this fault and dealt with it seamlessly for me 🍺
  3. That’s exactly the same as my car. My car went and still goes to the hand car wash the aggressive substance excuse is rubbish the Audi dealership never even asked me about washing etc they looked and immediately said they would replace the light bar they seemed to know immediately it was due to faulty manufacture I’d would definitely follow that up with your Audi dealership at 1600 quid plus fitting this isn’t a cheap fix and the washing product excuse is ridiculous on a modern prestige car .
  4. Hi that looks crazy I’ve been looking around and don’t see any other makes with the problem how can the lights be watertight there is small holes all the way along on the light bar the washing excuse is ridiculous on a prestige car I personally take my cars to the same car wash I’ve used for years 3 Q7’s and 2 S5’s no problems ever . The front lights on the Q8 mist from the inside from new its actually in the manual saying this is normal but I think they have problems with the lights which is a shame on a otherwise fine car
  5. Cheers mate so am I they didn’t hesitate so nice one Audi the parts on back order couple of weeks should be all good 👍
  6. Noticed my rear light bar has started delaminating in half a dozen places no outside impact damage it’s coming from inside the unit Audi immediately offered to change this under warranty just a heads up to see if yours is ok as they cost around 1600 quid to buy IMG_8669.mov IMG_8669.mov IMG_8669.mov
  7. Hi Frank I have been into Audi Sheffield who confirmed it’s normal 75% of the Q8s parked outside had the condensation I’m going up to Bamburgh in the new year will give it a bit of a run usually run into a bit of snow that time of year i will let you know how we get on 👍
  8. Hi Frank The headlamps in the Q8 aren’t sealed they breathe apparently but it’s correct I’ve checked I visit for work just outside Mainz (Bornheim) my customers claim to fame is he has never been overtaken on the Autobahn between Frankfurt and Zurich and he’s 78 but he does drive a beast of a car AMG 63 se around 800 hp I think anyway it’s been interesting chatting and let’s both enjoy our Q8s . Nigel
  9. Hi Frank It’s literally just condensation I’ve just checked the Q8 manual page 63 it says cold weather is the cause but it seems it’s not a problem I had 2 Q7s and they have been brilliant cars not 1 problem with each they were both 3ltr TDIs but as I tend to make shorter runs daily ( I’m still working haha ) I thought I’d swop to petrol I still run up north fairly often and I’m in Sheffield so I avoided the Electric versions the main difference is really the width of the Q8 other than that they aren’t too dissimilar like you I would have the Q8 but really at my age (65) I don’t need it Germanys changed as well not so many places unrestricted on the Autobahns these days sadly Best Regards Nigel
  10. Hi Gareth That’s what i will do I’ve actually noticed a couple of Q8s today with this problem I’m going in to the dealership anyway but will make sure it’s reported I will let you know their response Nigel
  11. Hi Frank Thanks for the reply the car is 1 year old and done 6k miles its under warranty I noticed today they are perfectly clear I’ve been told it’s in the Q8 Manuel that this is normal I haven’t checked myself . Nigel
  12. I’ve noticed in damp conditions the headlights on my Q8 55 tfsi are fogging over is this normal I never noticed this with my previous car Q7
