  1. Beeping came back last Friday but no new fault codes. WTF?
  2. ODBEleven dongle arrived yesterday and I've done a scan. These popped up: 01 Engine Trouble codes: P030000 - Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected Intermittent P030100 - Cyl.1 Misfire Detected Intermittent P030400 - Cyl.4 Misfire Detected Intermittent P130A00 - Hide cylinder Intermittent 19 Gateway Trouble codes: 03041 - Energy management active Intermittent I've cleared them and taking the car for a run later today to see if they return.
  3. Yes, I've put an OBeleven on order. Should be with me Monday and then I can see for myself what's going on with Sammie.
  4. Happened again today. Good weather so it can't be the weather. Maybe it's a faulty parking sensor? Would it beep constantly like this? It's driving me bananas.
  5. I thought it had gone away but it's back today.. Keeps beeping loudly every few minutes, I think it might be something to do with the Steptronic because when I put it into D from P, the beep is exactly the same. I haven't seen any warning lights or warning messages on the dash display? Is there a SUPER SEEKRIT option to view warning messages? Or it might be the voice activated system, it might be beeping loudly because it's not understanding me ? Is there way to permanently disable the voice activation if that's the issue?!?!?
  6. Oh, I hadn't thought of doing that! I'll do that next time I head out.
  7. Any recommendations for reading the fault codes off my 1.4 TFSI? I thought I'd save myself some pennies and get to the bottom of what's causing the occasional loud beeping sound.
  8. Just had Sammie (the car) beeping very loudly every and then during driving. I've checked the doors, nothing on seats, no warning lights, no messages on the cockpit display. What on earth could she be beeping very loudly about!?
  9. Approx 1k miles, stil not dropped yet. Impressed. My old BMW would be nagging me to add a litre at that point 😄
  10. That makes a lot of sense .. so I don't really need to turn it off on start. Thanks.
  11. Yep filled up this morning. 35 litres (7.5 gallons), and as the gauge was just at the reserve mark, that's 10 litres in reserve so the average is 46 mpg. Or 10 miles / litre. Why does the specs say 577 miles per tank though.

  13. I filled up the tank when I purchased it. I came home yesterday with the fuel gauge resting on the mark where reserve kicks in. the trip computer shows 350 miles have passed. Roads have been 60% mix between motorways and 40% on small roads. Is that normal? I'll fill up again soon and reset the trip computer and see what happens. Thanks.
  14. I haven't been able to find anything in the manuals about CoD. Does it actually show anything on the MMI or in driver information panel on the dash when CoD kicks in? I thought if I turn off stop/start when starting from cold it might be easier on the engine until it warms up and then enable stop/start. Does that makes sense?
  15. 350 miles and the level still hasn't dropped yet. I'll check again soon.
