  1. Had this a month now though only actually driven it for 2 weeks of that month, adblue issue is still there but I'm taking it in for diagnostic test on Wednesday and then it's a warranty job from there, unless the garage say no then it will be a drive back to the dealership to park it in their office and walk away from it
  2. I'm getting it done through warranty this time, if and when it happens again I'll be going down that road of getting rid of the adblue, might even delete the dpf and egr whilst I'm at it
  3. I picked up my 2014 a6 avant 3 weeks ago, took it back 2 weeks ago as start stop, auto release handbrake and parking sensors were up the spout, on way home the adblue p20e8 fault popped up so I refilled it with just over 5L tried the reset which worked for about 30 seconds then got the same message pop up, but it also bought on the engine management light too. Apparently there's nothing wrong with it and I picked it up yesterday with them saying all the faults had been sorted to go back out an hour after getting home to have the 650m message pop up yet again. Also on a side note I was going through the menu's to find out how to change the clock time and found the engine oil level menu with it saying please reduce the level.... now just before I picked it up it Apparently had a service, should I just hand the car back as a lemon or should I persevere? I'm starting to get the feeling that I've been sold a dud car as it wasn't as described in the ad
  4. I will find out Friday when I take it in, im going to guess they'll have done it by their in house workshop
  5. Hi mate I accepted it in current state as I'd already changed the insurance over from the old car to the new and the jag really was on its last legs, the adblu and the front park sensors only went south on the day of pick up the other stuff I'd been told had been rectified prior to pick up but on checking only 1 of the 3 presale issues had been resolved, the dealership have been very good though so far and I'm taking it back to them this coming Friday for everything to be resolved otherwise I'll be walking away from the deal and buying something else (though probably not from them) As an aside the recall was for a heating element though I didn't get placement of said heating element from the main dealers when I rang this morning
  6. Sound advice, well there's a few things that aren't right with the car which I was assured last weekend when I viewed the car would be sorted before I picked it up which haven't been, also I don't have the current mot paperwork nor any kind of service history and also the cam belt and water pump have apparently been replaced yet I don't have any paperwork to support this so these are just things I need to query with the seller as I'd have thought they should have been present in the pack
  7. The selling company will be the first port of call, I'll be telling them the issues i have with the car and giving them the opportunity to rectify it otherwise I'll be handing them the car back and walking away from it
  8. It was bought from a 2nd hand dealers, I have already messaged the selling dealers though not heard anything back from them just yet, I'll be calling them tomorrow morning along with teesside audi for the outstanding recall which I'm hoping is about the adblu issue I've got
  9. So picked up the car yesterday drove home and halfway home got the 650mi till no start warning. Refilled the adblu with fresh, plugged my handheld scanner in and its coming up with P20E8 and P20E8 P codes both relating to adblu issues. Now does anyone on here know how to get rid of this issue? Rich
  10. Well I've got to call them tomorrow to speak with the service department as they are closed today so I'll be doing that in the morning
  11. Hopefully its an easy fix for you and can be done while you wait, I'm going to call audi now
  12. Yeah I shall do, I hope the issue with yours is easily sorted too
  13. I'd have said 12.8 with the engine running was abit low id be looking for low 14s raising slightly when load is applied
  14. I have got a 3 month warranty with the selling company so at least that's something
