hi guys im new on here is there a technical section as i am having an isue with the cab roof. its the 1.8 20v on a 1999 plate ive changed the wiring on either side of the boot. when i open the roof the windows go down. then nothing i checked the boot lock and it was open i think this may be my issue as im sure the boot is meant to lock in order to allow the motor for the roof to work. any ideas ? oh it locks and unlocks with the remote central locking fine. if this is the wrong place to post this can someone point me in the right direction of where to post it cheers

hi guys im new to this site, just bought the gf a 1999 cabriolet and i cant get the electric roof to go down. open the catch the windows come down then nothing. ive checked the handbrake switch and replaced the wiring through the boot but still nothing. any ideas on what else to check ?
