Just been driving home and while doing about 30mph on dual carriage way multiple faults came up on my dash eventually bringing my car to a stand still . I guided the car to the side put my hazards on and turned the car off . Eventually when I started back up after about10 minutes all was fine but that was scary . I only collected car in march so obviously still under warranty but I have no idea what could have caused that .

Hi guys . im after some covers for the rear seats of my avant . Anyone recommend anything that fit well ? I’d also like something to cover / protect the rear transmission tunnel . last but not least I have some factory rear floor mats but while they have fastening holes there are no fasteners on the rear floor . So they just slide everywhere when I have rear passengers . Where can I buy something to keep them in place ? thanks !

I’ve not bothered taking it in yet as the faults clear almost instantly . I will likely bring it up when it goes in for its service . I’ve already done around 10k in the short space time of time I’ve had it . I hope your issues are sorted now they have replaced the locks but please keep us updated.

It’s drinking a lot of oil and ad blue …. I’m hoping that settles down the more the engine beds in . Other little quirks I’ve had are a fault about central locking that pops up intermittently. Also I’ve had a warning come on where it doesn’t recognise the key fob but that goes more or less the minute after it comes up . Apart from that the Quattro is a very enjoyable and comfortable drive . The sound system is crisp . Love the boot space .

I mean it’s just a question . Always thought Castro and shell is what Audi use anyway . Buying 5 litres seems quite cost effective. I haven’t bought it yet I was asking if this one is shortest . Anyway thanks for your input !

Hello guys my 25 Audi a6 40 TDi ( C8.5 ) has just done 4500 miles and the oil low message has popped up . is this one from Costco compatible with my engine ? Thanks in advance !

I’m only get approx 38-40 in the 40 tdi ! however mine is mainly stop starting in town . just wondering do any of the drive modes make a difference ? I’ve just left it in ‘ auto ‘

Status 40 this morning (uk port ) & just got the registration document with reg etc so thankfully will miss that ved increase . Just the wait for collection now !

Been stuck at status 38 since 10th February . Hoping by next week there is some movement 🤞

I think the majority are impressed with it especially in the a6 . To get the most out of it just make sure the source is good and also the 3d surround option is turned off . A lot of forums mention that when this option is on it hinders the quality . I certainly wouldn’t let it stop from not buying a car I like .

So, on a £50k+ car you don’t get rear cup holders unless you add the luggage pack which is £100. Can imagine most do forget to spec it as you would assume it’s standard and then you have to pay even more £146 + fighting ?! Crazy

Not sure if it was this forum or another that I read that Spotify wasn’t the best source ? I’d recommend just testing it for yourself . If you go equipped with a few different samples at least you will know how it sounds to your ears . Sound is very objective but I know for sure that you to need to give the system a good source for it to shine . Good luck

I’ve only tested the b & o system at the dealership but I thought it was good ! From what I read the source of the audio is a big factor . Apple Music or something tidal with hd audio out will sound amazing on the b & o .

Ah that really sucks Optimus. I really hope something pops up as close to the spec you wanted . For them to let you know only 2/3 months before expected delivery is very disappointing ! im awaiting a factory order albeit only the 40 tdi that’s due for delivery march/ April . Didn’t particular want to go new order route but spec I wanted wasn’t available and still isn’t and on top of that the discount via brokers for brand new just made sense . Is it possible that it can be retrofitted ? Seems to have all the necessary hardware already by looking at this assistance spec included

Recently ordered an a6 avant black edition with the tech pack pro . Just wondering if that include the adaptive cruise control or is only included with the tour pack ? thanks in advance
