SCARY INCIDENT JUST NOW IN MY A6

Featured Replies

Just been driving home and while doing about 30mph on dual carriage way multiple faults came up on my dash eventually bringing my car to a stand still .

I guided the car to the side put my hazards on and turned the car off . Eventually when I started back up after about10 minutes all was fine but that was scary .

I only collected car in march so obviously still under warranty but I have no idea what could have caused that .

Hi take it back where you bought it and get them to scan the car for fault codes.

Will do Steve thanks

We've seen a similar incident with an A6 can't remember if it's the previous model ,(c7) or the current model. But the fault was traced back to a loose cable which runs from the battery in the boot and goes under the rear passenger seat and to the front of the car. This had come loose and caused similar symptoms to yours.
