I got the battery changed earlier couldn't wait till next week, went for a mid range from Europarts, it started fine but I got another issue that's popped up, the ABS or drift light is on and won't go off ? I had a diagnostic run at mates garage and he says it could be a sonsor, got it booked in at specialist tomorrow. Any ideas on what it could be its so frustrating ?

Lol I think I spoke to soon, the battery went on me again today after parking up at my university, which is 36 miles there and back and wouldn't start. 3 hours later returning to car, turned the key and it just started without a jump start. I am replacing it some time next week James. Any recommendation on a specific brand of battery to go for? I will upload pics of my car in a few days Brucielee and thanks!

I have the same issue with my A4 rust appearing on the front wings. It must be comman as its the same year. I didn't realise about the paint corrosion warranty before this forum. I haven't owned the car long just like you, had it 8 months, has had full Audi dealer history. Wings were professionally sorted from a private body work specialist, didn't have the wing changed as I was advised to, hense no warranty as I was told it may re appear unless I got it changed and it has. So annoyed so I know the feeling Kev6699, let me know if you do manage to get it sorted?

Oh and it's a 140bhp diesel model Sline a4.

Thanks James and yeah Brucielee all sorted. I had a diagnostic check on it from specialist and it turns out it may be the battery. Has a damaged cell and is over 10 years old, will need to change it at some point. But has been starting ok since Jump startling it once.

Can anyone please help me, I have had my Audi A4 for 6 months and it usually starts up fine. Tried to start it today, it wouldn't start. The light on dash come on fine, it turns when starting it, no funny noise but it won't start. First time it has happened does anyone know what it could be.
