  1. Can I code a non AGM battery to my stop start A3?

    Just wondering if I can use a non AGM battery to the car? I need a new battery and I’m working abroad for 2 months. I don’t want to spend £130 and then have a diff battery while I’ve been abroad. I’ve read that AGM batteries need to be kept on charge. I could take the battery out and leave it on a maintenance charge? I don’t think I can code a non AGM battery? I know I can change the charging settings on the car. Thanks.
