Suspected electrical discharge flattening battery
What makes you think that it is an aftermarket MMI? That looks like a normal Audi one to me. The best way to find a parasitic draw is using a multimeter. Youtube is full of tutorials on this, but heres one.

Plastic Rivet removal?
The bit in the middle, take a small screwdriver and push it through, then you should then be able to pry the round bit out like a normal plastic rivet.

Automatic full beam activation
With the headlights on just push the left hand stalk forward, if you have it it will come up on the dashboard. On my 72 plate A4 thats all you do, anyway.

DPF failure on 52k miles
Most likely it would be due to excessive heat. Was you car ever subject to a static forced regeneration? Its literally the worse thing you can do to them, and should never be done.

DPF failure on 52k miles
I have watched enough of Jimmy, from O'Reilys Autos, on YouTube to know that soot on the tail pipes means one thing and one thing only. Your DPF is cracked.

Morning. New member checking in.
Just bought an A4 35TFSI after getting fed up with replacing sensors on my Gen10 Civic. Brilliant car, love it. Certainly a bit firmer than my Civic and its my first Automatic car. Love the fact that the Handbrake comes off automatically, compared to having to do it every time with the Civic, and the brake hold doesn't reset to "Off" too. Anyone know what is the Colour name/code? Think i'm going to go down the remap route. Anyone have suggestions for this in Scotland? Anyway nice to see an active forum, as those facebook pages are terrible.
