Coding new battery to 2014 RS5 (VCDS)
I'm asking a question clearly on the posts title about a 2014 RS5, not a 2004 A3, not a Ford Granada .... The fact you're acting this, clearly shows you're not even planning to help (a showcase of great community spirit), just a poor attempt of trying prove something that doesn't need proving

Coding new battery to 2014 RS5 (VCDS)
I have followed the instructions correctly, the old battery was a Moll (MLA) unit, the unit supplied is still a Moll unit but the vendor code is EAB Within VCDS, EAB doesn't show on the list, does the battery vendor need to be recognised by VCDS for it to be coded successfully? I even tried to use the code MLA and the test procedure still didn't work and not let me save the new details The old battery information within 19-CAN Gateway is 8K0915105F MLA 140626Q2R6 The new one is 000915089K EAB 1411088RZ0 Done all the correct spacing/characters, it just won't let me run the test successfully and save new parameter Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

A3 8P 3.2 VR6 Manual Gearbox Help
Hi all, I have a VR6 3.2 A3 8P For a while now, i've been chasing a sticking clutch - changed the clutch, slave cylinder (twice), accul valve, master cylinder (twice), pressure bled it a million times too. Then we found crank end float where I discovered the thrust washers were damaged - i've replaced them and the tolerance of movement is back to being acceptable However after all this, the pedal still sticks and when driving, the clutch pedal has a mind of it's own The only other thing is the gearing inside the box - I'm opted to build a second gearbox but I'm wondering if people can help on if i can run a better box (i.e. 02M instead of 02Q) My gearbox seems to be the following - 02Q 300 041 EX or 02Q 300 015 BX Any help would be wonderful, I'm at my wits end with this thing now

A3 8P TDI Coolant Loss
I've been experiencing coolant loss on my 1.6TDI A3 8P Got no visible coolant leaks on the floor (engine undertray is off) and no white smoke coming from exhaust (idle/on throttle and moving) Done a dye test that came back alarmingly quickly as a head gasket failure But it's not doing the other usual head gasket failure symptoms - which is strange Is there anything else that could be wrong that causing phantom coolant loss
