  1. I have found a 80k engine locally too so not all lost 😄
  2. Oh hi there! its me Mr I told you so! So this was a !Removed! show to a point. I got new injectors and had to wait longer than expeced for certain tools. (I spent wayyyyy too much on specific tools ill never user again 🙂) So, everything went well, I marked everything per injector noted all VAGCOM data required and had 4 brand new reconditioned Injectors ready to go from WTDiesel. Removal of the first no1 injector was a faf. It took my specific VAG offset injector puller alot of work to pull it but i pull it out but it did. And it had alot of carbon. Number 2 was the same just little bit less pulling with the tool. (it was a pull hammer tool) I did have to remove the what I have called fat H bracket retention bracket. You had to use another tool like a deep socket with the side cut out to turn the electric connector out of the way. Then on to number 3 & 4, they came out with one pop! and where almost covered in Diesel I want to say, but no carbon. Result! 2&3 where the issue. I took note of the new details on top of the injectors for coding later and popped all the new ones in with the Liqid Molly lube. Then I put in the bracket for 3&4 and the new stretch bolts supplies with the injectors. The same for 1&2 but........... Snap. How!? I counted the number of rotations it took to loosen them as I know these are snap bolts!!! I dropped to my knees. Then looked up and saw 1&2 where about 1/2 inch higher than 3&4. The one thing I did not measure was the distance from head to top of injector. I tried my extractor bit but was too afraid of some how doing more damage to the threads so stopped and rang the mechanic. As you know from this thread he is great and he tried to give me hope but who knows at this stage. He lives close enough sow as able to tow it to him with no issues. He will have to strip rocker etc and have a look and see what can be recovered. Also on a side note. When you get recon injectors they come with a new code to code to the car which makes since. However the documentation I got with each just shows the new code not the old one too so now I have 4 sheets and not idea which one is which!!! I guess thats on me but you would think it would be on the report. I am Super Moberly obese so I can eat your humble pie you are about to serve me.... however I regret nothing. You have to fail to learn. attached some images for I dunno why lol
  3. You will all be “happy” to hear I listened to your advice and ignored it all 😆 im going to try changing the injectors this weekend (weather permitting) I will document it as well and report back.
  4. the VCDS did throw up like 4 errors but they all go when you fill it up and store settings. Will swap over this week and see what happens
  5. New to me. They are 2019 but unused. I have not tested them as of yet wanted to swap them about today but got called into work and still here. Hopefully get the two fronts swapped around thsi week to test it that way. I will also keep the soppy water in mind too! Just very ironic its the same corner both times. Thanks
  6. Hi. Sorry when I changed the wheel I filled all tires up and set to store values on the mmi. that was the height of it. Then when it came up and checked pressure and it had dropped 10psi
  7. Yes the new wheels alloys and tyres came with tpms.
  8. So, I have standard S line alloys and about 2 years ago I got warning light low pressure front right, thought nothing of it gave it some air and reset. Happened again, usually within a week depending of usage. So I went to tyre shop and got a new tyre. Then same again. I swapped the wheel over and same. But the tire is losing pressure. So I got a whole new set of Alloys (needed them) and what do you know front right low pressure..... Has anyone come across this? coudl it be TPMS playing up? Tyre guy said older wheel was not sealing right at the rim. Its just funny it happened same corner on new wheels. I will swap the fronts around thsi weekend and reset again to see but just asking the question when I can. Oh VCDS all clear
  9. I just added spacers to my A6 C7 Aavnt, 20 at back 15 at front. If I were to do it again I might go 12 at front. However I am a paranoid mess thinking I can hear rubbing on full locks now 😄
  10. mod note my mistake this was meant for the A6 C7 forum
  11. I have a A6 C7 avant and will be getting 20/15s on soon. So will let you know how it goes.
  12. Sorry for delay. finally got round to fitting the new bulbs. By god what a pain the the !Removed! it was. But got them done. I defo still think my left one is duller than the right but I think this could be due to water negress. Not sure where from but it was a second hand light after a small accident so I think replacing it will be next on the list for lights. over all very happy as both have defo improved with the brightness so thanks for the tips!
  13. Haha thanks for the heads up on valley lighting!!! They have 12k 🤣
  14. Thanks Steve! I’ll defo have a look. I believe then to be original so yeh prob best for a change!
  15. Hi all i was just wondering if anyone would know do these bulbs degrade? I feel like my dips especially are very dull at the minute and want to know if anyone has found this and changed/upgraded their lights. fyi I have the 4go.941.005 (left) head light
