  1. Hi, I'm in Limerick Ireland with the same rattle on the A6 Avant dsg. Audi dealership have quoted for clutch service and new DMF 4,900 euro. I will drive over to your guy tomorrow and save a couple of thousand.
  2. Hi Cliff going by YouTube and google yes it has the dual mass flywheel which is obviously the expensive one, my luck, apparently it makes a smoother running car.. I've tried to price it through Autodoc and my registration brings up the DMF. AUDI here in Ireland are quoting ¢4900 for the flywheel and a clutch service which I won't be paying I'm trying to find an independent garage that can do it but I'd like a better idea of the cause of the noise before I give it to anyone.
  3. Just noticed my topic says DMS that should be DMF. sorry.
  4. Hi All, new to here and looking for advice. I drive a 2015 A6C7 2.0 TDI Avant. Automatic. Ultra 190bhp. Recently it has started vibrating when I'm coming to a stop, slowing down. Gear changes seem to be taking longer too. Goole tells me it's the DMF yesterday after a 2 minutes drive around a carpark a mechanic said it's the driveshaft, possibly the transfer bearing but would need to strip it and the gearbox out to check Any advice before I commit to spending money on one thing to be told it's something else Thanks for any help SeanC.
