  1. Thanks for reply. Agree technology should be fairly easy to use, then again if there are bugs in the system it can cause all sorts of problem. When I initially ordered the car and even when I collected, I was not informed you needed an app to operate. I had a Tech expert look at this for me. He also spent a great deal of time trying to get this to work. Tried several different types of phones to try and connect. He done a vast amount of research into the UTR App and the Camera. There seems to be a inherent problem with the Wifi connectivity due to weakness in signal strength. Another friend who also been an Audi driver for many years, advised me he was thinking of getting one of these cameras a couple of years ago. When he looked into it online he realised the apparent problems and did not go ahead. Wish I knew this before.
  2. I recently had this fitted to my new 2026 Audi A1 by dealer. Which is a 3 hour round trip away. I have spent few full days trying to connect the Audi UTR App to system via WiFi to no avail. From what I understand I can not access all the features unless connected. For example date and time settings, speed and many other features. In addition the SD card only records the front footage and you have to access rear footage via App and download to phone. Is there any tech wizards who have installed this App and used successfully.
  3. Hi all Just signed up. Will be posting a help topic on my Audi A1 when I find section.
