  1. Thanks. Absolutely insane and scary
  2. Prsy - did you get any further with this? Cliff directed me here as I had a similar issue, my A3 just suddenly ground to a halt coming off the motorway (luckily!) no warning lights or anything, throttle did nothing. Stopped and restarted it and it was fine. It’s in with Audi now to see if there are any fault codes. I mean, who wants a car that you pay a fortune for that may actively die with zero warning in the fast lane of the motorway! Third issue with the car in 15 months. Not impressed at all.
  3. Hi Cliff thanks for taking the time - it’s a petrol 35 Tfsi mhev S- it’s got the regenerative braking tech etc but it’s not full hybrid
  4. Hi new to the forum and looking to see if anyone has experienced anything like this. Driving yesterday (2021 a3 sportback 35, 36,000 miles annd just serviced in December) and went to accelerate off the motorway up an uphill, right turn slip road. Just as I got to the right turn, engine revs slowly died (foot to the floor) and the car crawled to a stop on the flat. No errors or warnings or anything. Was in a bit of a panic as it was a dangerous situation! Hazards on, put car into park then back into drive, would barely move (like 1mph). Stopped and restated car and everything’s fine. Any suggestions? Am not happy as I am now paranoid that going to happen in lane 3 of the motorway! Thanks in advance
