  1. Hi welcome to the club! Fingers crossed they will win again. The R18 is an excellent car so I don't see why not!
  2. Hi Alan welcome to the club! :) The 3.0 TDI is a great engine especially with a map, the torque is immense! Which map did you get? Pop some pictures of your car up when you can!
  3. If it is climate control then it could be a flap motor that has failed. May be worth checking out. I don't think these are too expensive to replace either. Welcome to the club by the way! :)
  4. That's good. Let's hope that's the last of your problems and you can get on and enjoy it!
  5. If your're only doing a couple of miles per trip then I would say the petrol version would be the one to get. Don't forget most of the time the petrol versions are cheaper so you will either be able to save a bit of money or get a better specification car for the same price. Always a bonus :)
  6. First port of call would be to check the door seals on the relevant side. This can be quite a common failure on some cars.
  7. Hmm strange sounds like it could be a microswitch or chip in the unlocking mechanism that has failed. Does it still unlock with the key?
  8. 30% does seem like a considerable difference. That's strange that it has no way of keeping the fan on the windscreen. I was going to say that some cars I have seen automatically turn on the air con when you point the fan at the windscreen but obviously this can't be the problem for you. :(
  9. Not a great start to ownership!
  10. Hi there sorry for the delayed hello! :) Did you purchase an A5 in the end? Most modern diesels can have issues with things such as DPFs but this is a lot more common when the car does fewer miles. It can help to take the car for a good run once a week or so and make sure you get it hot and use the rev range fully!
  11. Welcome to the club! :) Interesting selection of cars you have had but at least you have an Audi now :P
  12. Sadly sometimes manufacturers MPG claims are a little optimistic to say the least :( They test the cars in ideal conditions in laboratories, not on actual roads. Have you tried using a premium fuel such as Shell V Power to see if that makes any difference after 2 or 3 tanks?
  13. Welcome to the club. Did you manage to get this issue resolved? As the car is only 4 years old have you tried to get goodwill from Audi?
  14. Welcome to the club! Enjoy your A6 :)
  15. Welcome to the club Mick would love to see those photos when you have them! :)
  16. Welcome to the club! Nice looking A6 you have there! :)
  17. May be worth a go. Definitely the higher spec models are going to have the better resale value on parts.
  18. Try using a fuse tap and looking for a switched live in the passenger compartment fuse box
  19. Hi and welcome to the club! :) I bet you are enjoying the extra fuel economy with the 1.4! It's a great little engine!
  20. Have you tried deleting and re-pairing from both sides (car and phone)?
  21. Try JUST CONNECT These guys have some great products and I have seen there work and can vouch for it!
  22. Hi and welcome to the club! :) Does the door still lock or is it both the lock and unlock functions that do not work?
  23. Hi and welcome to the club! Hope you enjoy your Q7! :)
