Hi Gaz welcome to the club! :)
  4. I would think you will have to cut the door card unfortunately. Unless you can access the catch by rolling the window down?
  5. Hi Adam welcome to the club! :)
  6. Hi Ian welcome to the club! Looks loads better! B)
  7. Hi and welcome to the club! :) Locate the spring on the brake pedal and try a small quantity of white grease. Pump the pedal a little and this should hopefully cure the squeak!
  8. Hi Ryan welcome to the club! :)
  9. Could be the chain cam tensioner. Can be quite a common fault.
  10. Hi and welcome to the club! :)
  11. I've read somewhere that it can get funny about copy protected cd's? Have you tried another source?
  12. Have you been in an A6 with 20's and experienced the ride?
  13. This is on Audi's website don't know if it helps: http://www.audi.co.uk/content/dam/audi/production/PDF/PriceAndSpecGuides/a4-a4allroad-s4.pdf
  14. Hi mate welcome aboard! Get some pictures up of the S4 when you can! :D

Hi Pat welcome to the club! :)
  16. The Audi S3 Sportback gives you an abundance of power and agility, featuring a turbocharged 2.0-litre TFSI engine with 300 PS and quattro permanent all-wheel drive. But it also offers a level...
  17. Clutch slip would normally only happen in higher gears like you said too. Try taking it on a motoroway/dual carriage way and then putting your foot down from low revs in top gear
  18. Like one of these? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AUDI-A4-B6-B7-Armrest-Arm-Rest-Centre-Console-Grey-Cloth-/151213840969?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&fits=Car+Make%3AAudi%7CModel%3AA4&hash=item23350c1a49
  19. Hi and welcome :) It does sounds a lot like clutch slip. How many miles has the car done? Normally, with clutch slip, the revs will go up but not your speed.

I'm not sure how you would find the individual VIN number. Perhaps ask at an Audi dealer? I'm sure I have seen some 2009's with towbar prep but I could be wrong.
  21. Could be the door control module similar to this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/181248982631 That one is off an A4 but I have heard of other people having issues with these
  22. When the power steering light came on was the power steering still working?
  23. Hi and welcome to the club! The reverse light fault could be to do with the reverse light switch on the gear box. This can be quite a common fault.
  24. Not sure if it's related but I have heard that DPF regeneration can cause the revs to hold about 1000/1500 rpm?
  25. Yes I was lucky to get away from that badger in one piece! :P
