  1. Personally I'd put my money into getting a proper remap, one that sets up your car, buying a pre remapped ecu it's only a generic remap, it can't be that good for the car when the remappers haven't put your car on a computer, whatever your going to pay for it be sure to set some more aside for the possibility of things going wrong,

Keep your money and go get a proper remap in my opinion

  2. Just a wild one but while the car is switched off pump the brake pedal to see if it builds up pressure, then when or if the pressure is built, push the pedal while starting the car to see if the pressure goes down again, this'll tell you the servo is at least doing what it's meant too,

Have you completely drained the system or only part of it when the part was replaced,

  3. thinking of converting my 4wd or taking away the fwd to make it permanent rwd, whats the thoughts, has anyone done it, any pros and cons would be great, thinking about how much fun it would be to have a 2.5v6 sport in rwd only. what do you think

  4. Welcome to the club and sorry to hear of the problem with the doors, have you or do you know someone with vcds/vagcom to see if it gives any indication as to why the doors won't unlock, it might point you in the right direction

When you press the keyfob to unlock the doors can you hear the mechanisms trying to work on the passenger doors, I had a broken wire on the front passenger door that would work randomly, while fixing the wire I shorted it and it stopped the rear door working properly, not sure why to be honest, but when I got the front wiring sorted out, the front door worked fine, ended up having to get a locking mechanism for the back, not saying it's the same, but the wiring in the doors seems to be a common problem,

  5. G33m4n welcome to the AOC, great to have you about, sounds like a great recovery story and very glad to hear that you did rescue the car so to speak, what apart from a wash and clean have you got in store for the car, love to hear

  6. OK Danny, eliminate everything else, heat Shields, gear selector linkages etc etc anything that can cause a rattle, take a couple days and go through them all lift the gear stick gator and check, go underneath and check, make sure and check everything
