  1. Anyone had this done,heard it's a really big job?
  2. Been a while since last post,had pump refurbished by a guy in Dewsbury cost 80 Quid and touch wood been ok since.
  3. Getting really frustrated now,Audi don't even have this pump on their system anymore,the pump is a tandem pump which does brakes as well,decided to have it removed and refurbished,fingers crossed the guy doing it says he's done them before,replacement from Europarts nearly £600,gulp.
  4. I have a recurring leak from my power steering pump on Audi 80 Cabriolet 2.6 1989 it comes from a blanking plug on top that contains a small spring below.The plug has a large posidrive x on top for tightening it back in to the pump,I have had the car just over 1 month and it has had 2 O rings and yesterday dumped all fluid again so I've fitted another one.I did notice on doing this that an O ring on another part of the pump was a red colour and wonder if normal black ones are affected by the fluid,any ideas people?     Just bought Audi 80 Cab 2.6 in great condition,but seems to have constant petrol smell in car,also temp gauge not working,any ideas please?
