Hi, my friend has had the water cooler brake in the auto box so there is water in the oil, do you think it will be ok just to flush out the oil, 3/4 times and the box be ok he did drive it like that for a few miles i shuddered when he told me that, the garage (in Tenerife) was frightening him with the gear box will be useless he better to buy a new one, me thinks not a good flush should return it to a good working condition, what do you think ?

Hi all, This will be my first Audi, i am in Tenerife and have been here for 16 years working in the south airport for 10 of those years, but now retired. I am a mechanical engineer and did many many years ago work for a ford dealer going on to make and race a ford anglia 105E, later working in the printing industry.I have picked the fastback A1 S matic with all the goodies due to the garage in 2 weeks, or so they say, it's Spain after all. will let you know how i get on with my new purchase.
