Sat Nav loses Home setting and favourites
Hi all, 65 plate, A3 Sportback. The SatNav on my Audi is regularly losing its "Home" setting on the Sat Nav favourites. It keeps telling me I need to set it, yet when I do, it disappears a short while later. Now, 4 of my 5 favourites have also disappeared. Can anyone please advise what I need to do to resolve this? Thanks, Rich

Parcel Shelf Part Snapped
Hi, I hope someone can help and maybe save me some money! A part has snapped off the parcel shelf of my 56 plate A3 Sportback, making it unable to hang on one side. Does anyone know if the part is fixable, or do I need to go onto eBay for another shelf? The photos show the snapped piece and one photo shows how it should look. I've tried fixing it, but without success and the part itself does not look as though the bit it is assembled on is replaceable. Thanks, Rich

Brake Fluid Warning Light
Hi, 65 plate, A3 Sportback. At my recent MOT, the brake fluid warning light came on, but as Audi were going to charge me over £60, I took it to a friend who is a manager at a Nissan dealership who did it for a third of that cost. I thought I would be able to reset the "Inspection due" warning that I receive every time I turn the engine on, in the same way I do when the tyres are properly inflated, however I can't find it anywhere. Does anyone know how I can reset the warning as the brake fluid has now been changed? Thanks, Rich

Bike Rack for A3 Sportback SE Technik 1.6 2015
Well, Halfords said "the computer says No" to the Saris Bones 3-bike. They insist there's is the only compatible one they sell to fit the Audi A3 Sportback/Hatchback (2015, 65 plate). It's got such poor reviews that I don't want the Halfords one. Has anyone else with a 2015+ A3 successfully fitted a boot mounted bike rack for 3? I'll email Thule to see what they say. Thanks, Rich

Hi Paul, Many thanks for the advice, I love the video and the reviews on Halfords' website are excellent. I'll pay a visit to there and see if it fits the A3. Cheers Paul, Rich

Bike Rack for A3 Sportback SE Technik 1.6 2015
Hi, Has anyone purchased a good bike rack for this model and could recommend it? I'm after a rear mounted type to hold 3 bikes. It's hard to determine which are suitable for my model. So many users out there have experienced difficulty. I've looked at Halfords and the one it suggests, however the reviews aren't great. Thanks, Rich

Best way to use an MP3 player
Many thanks Phil, I'll look into it. I've not tried the SD card option yet, so may try it at the weekend. Cheers, Rich

Best way to use an MP3 player
Hi, I currently use a very old MP3 player, connected via the aux cable to the MMI system in my A3 (65 plate) to play my music on. I remember being advised to purchase the authentic cable from Audi (£30+) as it would then display the songs from the MP3 player on the dashboard view. However, it turns out it doesn't, so I have to use the MP3 players controls to manage the playlist. So, in anticipation of my birthday, I'm thinking what is the best thing(s) I can buy to listen to and be able to control the music on the MMI system. I notice there is a memory card slot near the cd player in the glove box - is this any good? Would it display on my MMI? Or, shall I invest in a specific type of MP3 player/cable? Note: I do not own an iPhone, nor do I wish to purchase one. Any advice appreciated Thanks, Rich

Thanks Trevor, I'll visit the local dealer at the weekend, once I've had a look through the technical section. Appreciate the advice.
