yeah thats not bad mate. not that i think it will take 5 hours to change a turbo but not bad still. Although not as good as £2.99 for a tin of mr muscle that you can finish off in the kitchen! let us know how you get on

thats a good price for a recon turbo. when yours is off, clean it and sell it on ebay!

more people than i thought do it, but you're right its not out there in the masses and i'm kind of glad, there's enough competition for used cooking as it is lol. i think it is not for the faint of heart, you are basically using old cooking oil (that usually stinks), Methanol and caustic (both are truly awful chemicals) to create fuel to put in your pride and joy. yeah, come to think of it, what the hell am i doing haha. I've been doing this for around 3 years, its a hobby, great for the environment and saves me dosh!

love the evo. i dont think i'd have a license if i had one though lol. borrowed a mates and it was impossible not to nail it everywhere, think i stuck about £40 quid in the tank, 15 minutes later the light was on. i did however fill it up before giving it back to say ta lol

its already remapped. i do want to go further but will wait for the turbo to fail then replace it with the stock turbo from the 170, should be able to get a steady 220bhp from it then
