  1. Sorry for the late, late, late reply Trevor but yes it does have Isofix, Thanks.
  2. You can buy winter tyres for your 21" wheels, they are expensive though. For a set of 4 you are looking at £870 - £1140 depending on which tyre you choose. Have a look at Blackcircles or Mytyres, you'll see the fitted prices there. You don't have to buy new wheels. And winter tyres will make a difference on a nearly 2.5 ton car, as summer tyres will have less traction in the snow.
  3. If you want to look after your paint work, change your washing habits, use the two bucket with grit guards and a wash mitt method with a pH neutral car shampoo. When it comes to polishing your car, use a clay bar to remove the contaminants from the paint work that the washing missed, leaves the paintwork glass smooth. Then polish the car followed by a wax. Hand polishing wont take that much paint off, but if you are that concerned then you could always buy a paint thickness meter. Have a look at some detailing forums to get an idea of the products to use. You will be astounded by how long it can take and how much money you can spend detailing your car, to get it looking pristine.
  4. Thanks for the welcome. Here's a couple of picture of my new to me Q7, impressed with it it so far. It's a big beast and likes a drink. But as a mate said it's smiles per gallon. Will be concentrating on getting it in a bit better shape, wheels, arch trim and boot lid require a little attention to get up to my standard. Also another few bits and pieces to buy, get the engine tarracleaned and maybe even a remap but we will wait and see. Cheers Dave

    Isofix

I am in the process of buying a new to me 2009 Q7, can anyone tell me if Isofix is standard on this year of Q7? Would ask the dealer but they are closed at this time of night. Cheers Dave
  6. Good evening, Newbie here, in the process of buying a new to me Q7, switching from a Skoda Superb. Hopefully picking up the new wheels on Monday. Dave
