  1. Would anybody be able to advise me where I can get some Audi coolant/anti freeze, as I could do with topping up. Thanks in advance
  2. Contacted them last night via the contact-Technical Questions on their website and this is the email I've received this morning "Thank you for getting in contact. The differences between this tyres from the technical aspect, the A01 is a latest generation of that pattern. On my database I see 225/40R18 92Y XL FR ContiSportContact 5 AO we stopped manufacturing. The 225/40R18 92Y XL FR ContiSportContact 5 AO1 is homologated and is fitment by Audi as original equipment for Audi A3. If you are in any doubt I would call the vehicle manufacturer who should be able to fully guide in the correct fitment. Best Regards Tomasz Wojciechowski Product Support Engineer"
  3. I'm needing replacement fronts, but when looking at new tyres I've seen that Continental now have a AO1 spec tyre aswell as the AO(Conti Sport Contact 5 225/40 R18 92Y) spec that is currently on my car. I've had a google search and can't find any real information on the difference, if any, between them. So was wondering if anybody on here knows if there is any difference between them or has used them. Cheers
  4. Sorry for such a late response, I decided not not have a check as I think it was me just worrying, as a friend had a drive and said it felt fine. The reason for the sudden hard braking was that the country road I went down and was unfamiliar with, so I was checking the sat nav for a unlternate route. A stupid mistake, out of frustration.
  5. Yesterday I was stuck in traffic turnt off down a country road and had to break hard into a bend. Since then the car has felt down on power, especially at junctions and standing starts. I've had a quick look around the engine to see if I could see any split hoses coming off the turbo, but couldnt see anything(is a bit tight in there, so dont know if there is any pipes for an intercooler if fitted?). While under the bonnet had a listen and seems to be louder at the drivers side of the engine(more knocky). Also noticed today with the windows down stuck in the city traffic that in 2nd gear the gearbox(stronic)drops the rpm down to almost idle speeda then as soon as you touch the throttle it goes back to where you would expect the rpm to be, this is in the standard gearbox setting. I know the s tronic disconnects the clutch in eco mode but even only does it over a certain speed. Could really do without expensive bills at the moment as work are cutting hours and overtime down. Thanks
  6. If they had sent me the reminder sooner I could have booked it in well in advance but they literally sent me it last friday.
  7. No, I'm trying to get it in on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday, depending on what week it is at work(rotates from one week being Monday-Friday and then the next Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, then off either Thursday or Friday depending, then work Saturday as well), then just wait for it. The thing that is crazy is that I've got 3 Audi dealers and all are overbooked?
  8. First up, sorry for such a long delay, it's been really busy at work and I've also been ill as well. But here are the pictures finally. Secondly I'm finding Audi's customer service to be quite poor, they sent me an MOT reminder telling me that I could have the MOT for £49.99 and a brake fluid change(which is recommended on the third year) for a discounted price, ring up to book it in to be told that there is no possibility to get it in before the 7th of September(I think it was the 7th might be later than that) but if I want to I can have it done at VW for £54.99 with no MOT protection. I just find it crazy as back when I had my Ford you ring up and 90% of the time they could get you in and usually at time/day that was convenient to you, they even once got me in and done on the same day as I went away for a week forgetting I was due an MOT and then panicked when I realized the MOT was due the next day(while still away) so popped into a local Ford and they done it while I looked round the town.
  9. After recently purchasing my first Audi(only my second car ever) in mid March, I thought it would be wise to join an Audi forum for advice, tips and general chat. What I got myself is a 64 plate Audi A3 S Line 2.0 TDI 184 Quattro S Tronic in Brilliant Red with just over 26K on the clock. It has Heated door mirrors and washer jets Dual Zone Climate Control Heated Seats Sports Suspension Cruise control Light and Rain sensors Front sports seat(part leather) Plus more don't want to bore you all I bought it from the local Audi dealership on HP so will paying it off over the next three years, but thought I would treat myself to something nice since I had my last car since passing my driving test. Let me know if you would like to know anything more about the car(specs, etc), but I've got to get to bed. P.S. I'll get some pictures at the weekend after I wash it.
