  1. Had a 3.0TDI 09' with 125K miles on it gearbox was replaced under warranty 18K miles (knocking noises) from new after that I know its not much help, but totally solid performance and awesome gearbox oil and services was steady totally as you'd expect from the book. again not much help just wanted to say know a few Q5 owners 2 with 2L TDI and 2 with SQ5's none have excessive servicing/oil/gearbox issues...
  2. thanks I know I could go to any off the street, was wanting the kit to fit the Audi with the least amount of effort. i.e. the rear lower black section is simply clipped on; remove this and clip the new one in place; genuine Audi parts are preferred as it is purely cosmetic don't see how it could void any warranty other than maybe the paint corrosion warranty not worth the paper it is written on. The main exhaust itself would be unchanged the extra tips are cosmetic only from I have seen on some/most kits. Wouldn't want the s/s full systems as don't see the point and the tips when moved away from Audi's OEM just look boy racer, they miss the panache of OEM kit. and for any haters out there if I wanted a £1000 a month fuel bill yes I could have purchased the S4/RS4 but I am Yorkshire man...and if we all drove the same car we wouldn't be here in a owners forum helping each other out. Sorry in a mood today loads of keyboard warriors at work so again sorry if that came across wrongly...Best I have seen so far is this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rear-Diffuser-Lip-Bumper-Skid-End-Pipe-S4-Style-For-Audi-A4-B9-2016-2017-Sedan/182525918183?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649 but a lot of kits state NOT for the s line as the s line has a different fitting to ANY other model in the range...yep the SE and sport models have the same fittings as the S4/RS4 from what I have found out so far...
  3. Picked up a 2017 Red A4 Avant S-Line TDI Auto...the spec it came with from dealer looks almost like a S4 the only difference being the exhaust i have a single tip left hand side. Can I change this to a twin tip or even better change it to the twin tips either side...any recommendations for companies selling either the kit or can do the works (West Yorkshire). Thanks in advance.
  4. Also forgot to mention you should have two usb in the arm rest which can each take 32GB USB Sticks if you had too; and they do nano ones which only protrude about the size of the actual USB socket; if 32GB is the max with FAT32 also don't just dump music in one folder use folders; as you can only have 256 files in each folder with 256 folders in each folder; old school FAT32 rules. I have a 64GB Nano USBs in the works peugeots VANs so a little disappointed if 32GB is the max for a new car. Also since you can plug an iPhone and play direct off it which could be 256GB it does give me some hope that you can have larger than 32GB. I know manuals will say 32GB but often manuals are the last to be updated as the guy who designs this stuff often wants bigger to work for himself :-) In fact i have a VAN at home I am off to find out lol.....5mins later.... Drum Role....yep 64GB USB Nano works tried and tested. Therefore if you don't get the it 128GB working in the SD card out it in a USB reader and it will/should do. Regards
  5. I have just purchased the A4 Avant S-Line Diesel 150PS Auto. 9 months old ex demo. I am more than impressed i am glad to be back with Audi's, i left to go to thinking it was a good move to Mercedes and won't be going back. Its a nippy bugger; the auto is so smooth fuel so far is nice 49mpg round town hilly areas here in the west yorkshire. i have no doubt we have made a good choice. Good luck and hopefully in my mind you choose Audi
  6. Hi, My background is IT/computers and what you want if i recall is old school answers you need........FAT32 file partition allocation is 32GB max. Sure you can get tools to extend past this but it then needs a new operating system to make it see and use it. if you get a 32GB card and fat32 then it will work. Format the drive and try it with NTFS and then exFAT to try that. simple terms look up the difference between SDHC and SDXC thats what this all boils down. I considered this myself but thought not worth the risk of putting in a 64GB or bigger so slumped for the 32GB and played it safe. Thanks Simon
