  1. Hi Steve - sorry I if havent been clear - the water isn't in the boot - it is in the actual tailgate itself, in the right hand 'upright' at the side of the rear screen - you hear it move up and down as the tail gate is raised and lowered!
  2. Second post in a week, thanks for all the advice first time. My A7 has a strange issue - I have just noticed the sound of fluid moving up and down inside the tailgate when it raises and lowers - it appears to be on the right arm of the tailgate as you look at it from the back of the car - it is really disconcerting! I did have a removable tow bar fitted to the car when I bought it just to put a bike carrier on, and I think they had to dismount the rear right light cluster, but I can't see easily how this could have caused it, and the car is generally in absolute perfect condition with no damage or adverse history I can see. It didn't do it when I bought it a few months ago I don't think, but then it was the summer! Has anyone seen anything similar before? Everything looks flush and tight, and it sounds like a decent amount of fluid moving around. Many thanks Mat
  3. That's good news, seems more reasonable - I'll report back when I get a price!
  4. Thanks for this Steve! £100 seems a lot, but better than not having a spare. The cars are awesome - I have had a Q5 before, but this is my first 7 and I think it's stunning - I got the 3.0 TDI with whatever it is they call the sequential manual and the tech pack, and it's an incredible car for what I paid for it - I was about to pull the trigger on a BMW 530 GT, but the spec on the A7 plus the quattro blows it away! Thanks for the advice Matt
  5. Hi All Just joined, having bought a gorgeous used A7 (my first) a couple of months ago. It only came with one key, and although the (non-audi) dealer has been good enough to order me a second radio key, I now need to get it programmed - does it need to be done by the audi dealer or is there a way I can do it myself? I assume a dealer will charge me a crazy amount to plug it in and add a key to the memory... Many thanks Matt
