  1. Hmm good question never tried it in the manual mode, but noticed yesterday juddering started when in park so at the moment that would point me towards the egr valve or something else. Diagnostis said there was a fuelling problem but didnt expect it to change between putting in gear or not. Will try getting egr blanking plate on this week and see if it clears it up.
  2. Hi all, posted on here before with similar issue. 3.0 TDI Auto box. Basically juddering when in gear all but not out of gear. Had box oil changed, fuel filter. Had broken pipe feeding egr fixed. Could still be an EGR Fault but doubt it, Ive been told It may have a dual mass even though its an Auto any ideas? Thanks Ry
  3. Hi guys just an update on my auto box, went to see a specialist in preston last week and he says box is fine, but the egr is goosed which apparently is causing my juddering issues etc so Im either going to just clean it and see if it works again or blank it off and delete from ecu but not sure weather to bother deleting or not any ideas?
  4. Ah right I know a guy who will scan it for me no probs. Just hope this auto box problem isnt too expensive
  5. Its the standard Audi multichanger, previouse owner left it in there as they where using one of those plug in modules for Iphone mp3 but doesnt work with my phone so I just plugged cd changer back in then all hell broke loose lol taken it back out now but still got a lot of problems now.
  6. Oops only just seen this reply. Both of those things sound expensive lol. Also since I plugged my cd multichanger back in the car seems to have a multitude of issues, door unlock button not working inside car, interior light staying on, radio not going on or off with ignition, small screen inbetween speedo not working, thought Audis where reliable never had soo much trouble with a car in all my life.
  7. Well bit of an update, got the Trans oil, filter changed and has made a big difference, much smoother through the gears and a lot less slip etc especially when cold. BUT when its warm Im still getting a lot of judder when I put it in drive or reverse but car still runs sweet and pulls great in all gears. I have had the car mapped but the guy says shouldn't have affected the auto box in any way. Soo either my box is a bit goosed or im missing something here. any ideas guys?
  8. Sorry should have said, he's using the audi kit for that price. If it all goes !Removed! up im covered aparently by my rac warranty. At the end of the day its a 2006 car with 125k on it so im expecting issues lol Thanks for the advice though guys.
  9. Thanks guys. Im tempted to do the job myself but just havent really got the time at the moment so I reakon I will be taking it my local guy who specialises in clutches etc. He quoted me £300 with filter and oil included so I thought that isnt too bad but was hoping to save a few pennies by getting the oil myself. I dont reakon it will be long before someone starts producing the oil to the right spec and selling it cheaper. And yes its the 6 spd Tiptronic .
  10. Hi all I have the 3.0 tdi quattro and want to change the Auto Trans Fluid, does anyone know what the spec of the oil is. I know you can get it direct from Audi but Im not keen on paying there prices. I can get Fuchs oil but they don't know the spec like a lot of other suppliers. Thanks
  11. Thanks might need some help soon
  12. Got my first Audi in July love it.
