I love in Essex Southend area and was curious if anyone knows a good reliable place to get my a3 re mapped? Cheers

I have an Audi S3 Stage 2 MRC tuned vehicle.....I recently took my vehicle to a local Garage in my area to change a Lambda sensor, the garage also does engine remapping. I was away for the weekend so I left my vehicle with the garage to change the sensor and the vehicle was left outside my home address after work was completed. On my return it was clear when I drove the vehicle it wasn't running like it was when I dropped it off.... Gurgling from the exhaust, noisy turbo and horrendous fuel consumption, infact the vehicle was probably doing 30/32 miles per gallon before it's visit and between 15/19 when the car was returned. I called in to the garage to bring the points up with them but the Garage owner was not at the premises. I did speak with another mechanic that was at the Garage, who told me the owner liked my car and that he had put my car on the Dyno. After speaking with some other mechanics, they advised that my car didn't need to go on the Dyno as the lambda sensor is a plug and play part. After a few weeks I decided to contact MRC Tuning, Banbury and they were concerned and asked me if I could take the car back to them to inspect. When they connected my car to the ECU they informed me that my car was no longer MRC tuned and both engine and gear box mapping had been flashed and although there was a map installed on the vehicle, the mapping wasn't MRC. They then reinstalled the original software and all problems were gone.... The gurgling from the exhaust was infact the car was over fueling, hence bad consumption.. Also the wurring noise that I could hear was the turbo over running on de-acceleration. Summing all this up! It's pretty obvious what has happened here but the Garage isn't acceptable liability. What next? Can anyone point me in the direction of a qualified solicitor that will help resolve this issue. Thanks

Hello out there I’ve got 20l tdi s,line that had a re map done by previous owner it’s now over fuelling and just failed mot on emissions I don’t need the map on it so any suggestions on how to put standard map back on and where and who to use will be much appreciated 👍

Hi, new here! I just got an A3 TDI Stport 1.6. 67 reg. A few questions: a) Exhaust: can a single exhaust be converted to double? I guess the rear bumper needs to be adapted or replaced. b) Re-mapping: anyone here tried it on this model? I sense the results can be great. c) Internal mods: what is available to make it look more sporty? d) What's your favourite mod? Cheers! Alex

Have always wondered about mapping options on my car, currently a 2.0tdi 170bhp just want to know if anyone has had this done on same engine, from my understanding my engine is a 140bhp but then Audi mapped them to be 170bhp, not sure how true this is but makes sense, I'd be interested in a remap mainly as I here it can be better on fuel plus more torque and power hopefully someone can shed some light, I don't want to get it mapped if it's going to put even more strain on the engine components regards

Hi all I have an audi a4 avant auto 143 bhp was thinking about having it re-mapped just wondering if anyone can advise me on whether it damages the engine and if it increases the power and torch by much? also is there any particular make anyone can recommend for this 2013 model.any feedback would be great. many thanks andy

Hi all , Purchased an a4 2.0tdi sline 140bhp a couple of months back. I find the car really underpowered for the size , it runs spot on but feels like it needs a bit more go. Anyone know what they map like they say they can too 170bhp was wondering if there's anything else that might add a bit more is it poss to get 200bhp out of one ? Any advice would be appropriated thanks

Hi all Just bought an 09 plate Q5 & it looks like it doesn't have the Bluetooth module installed with the current system (Audi concert sound system) any ideas if this can be activated or requires a module to be fitted? When you press the button on the system it advises that the phone is not active I'm also looking to get it mapped (south coast) so any recommendations for who to see, or not see would be helpful Last one on the list is an LED rear light upgrade & xenon front light upgrade, I've looked @ OEM options, has anyone had any experience of after market options, again, good & bad Thanks Ginny

hi all, im looking for a little advise, i own a b7 rs4 06 plate with 65000 miles on it, its totally standard (engine wise) 420bhp, what benefits would i get out of remapping it? ie, extra bhp? fuel consumption etc, or would i be aswell getting it chipped, not keen on spending a small fortune if im not gaining much,so thats why im asking you guys for your help, i look forward to hearing from you all thanks.

Hi just wanting alittle info please if anyone can help I've got my first diesel car and at the moment I'm loving driving the a4 but I've being told that if the dpf filter starts to do a dickie fit then it's expensive to replace and it's better to remove it altogether will be a lot better for the car n engine itself plus a mapp on the car with make it a lot smoother n responsive etc so if anyone has done this to there car can you give me some info please My spec is: 2007 2.0tdi sline 140bhp 113 full service history car Many thanks Damian
