  4. Hello everyone . I have a Audi A4 B8 2008 with the MMI 3GS configuration and also a navigation CD box in the glove box. I want to connect my phone someway to play my music there . I have bluetooth but I cant seem to find it in my phone when searching for it ( yes I went into the settings of bluetooth and tried adding new device) plus i heard that it works only for phone calls and not for music . Does anyone know of a way to connect it either via bluetooth or aux cable or sth ? Any help would be greatly appreciated !!
  5. Driveshaft fit no problem I thought that would have been different not the hub The hub was smaller than mine, I guess the hub has to be from identical model in order to fit.
  6. Today
  7. It's hardly surprising a different model has different suspension. The spring will likely also differ.
  8. Good evening everyone, just wondering if anyone had any ideas regarding the hub and driveshaft on my Audi A1 I needed to replace both these parts after going over a large rock resulting in me smashing my hub and splitting my driveshaft, it’s on the drivers side, I bought a corner suspension for it genuine part second hand, it was from a A1 25 Tfsi on a 2023 plate, mine is A1 30 Tfsi 6 speed manual on a 2022 plate. My mechanic came to fit it, however the hub on the replacement part was a different size to mine, I didn’t expect that so just wondering is this the case or was I sent the wrong part, I didn’t expect that return the items and got a full refund but now I’m confused which one I should be looking for. Any help would be massively appreciated Thanks in advance
  9. Denise. I have merged your identical topics. Please do not create duplicates.
  10. I think they're meant to be on all the time, I just found this on another site In UK, new type approvals (ie new models introduced) after Feb 2011 had to have always on front DRLs. Hope that helps Jason.
  11. I started my car a couple weeks ago and accidentally blipped the throttle while it was on cold start and got this horrible rattle that I can produce every time, it now does it for a split second when first cranking the car. Does this sound like the chain? Thanks https://youtube.com/shorts/x58XhvWhios?si=z8ipEYDhh-ZZeeoB
  12. Sad to say I'm selling what has been my pride and joy for the last 4 years. Honestly gutted to be selling but I have a new job that comes with a company car benefit too good to ignore (making the jump to EV...). 3 owners, full service history and I've just had all 4 alloys refurbished, she's running great and looks even better. 13. Sorry for long post. I have a Japanese imported Audi Q3 Quattro 2014 Automatic with mileage of 62,000 and after approx. 1 month I noticed when I first got in car and pulled away there was a type of thud sound coming from rear it does it 3 or 4 times as I drive along then stops. It doesn’t do it again only on start up and only if car been sitting a few hours. I took it for a full service at Audi main dealership including replacing Haldex oil and nothing was found. My husband who is a mechanic for another main dealer has gone over the car and found nothing wrong and in fact both have said the car is in excellent condition. I did wonder if it was gear change thing as I when I start off, I go ridiculously slowly it doesn’t do it almost seems to start when car changes from first to second etc.. but nothing found wrong with gears etc. on examinations. There are no faults on computer of dash so I’m baffled. Don’t really want to take the car back as it is a good car in great condition. Has anyone else experienced this?
  14. Seen a few comments that say sonos takes more time to adjust to your liking than b&o.
  15. Any comment on the last three replies Dm? I know you have seen them.
  16. Thanks for the quick response! I was suspecting a worn rubber bush or but always worry it might be more (praying its not!). There's no leaking fluid anyway but I will update as soon as I get it looked at.
  17. The very first week I had my new 35TFSI a stone from a lorry hit my headlight and cracked it. I was gutted. I see it is possible to replace just the glass (plastic). Has anyone done this? Can anyone tell me how to remove the headlight? Is it an easy job? Thanks.
  18. It's likely to be a worn rubber bush in one of the suspension or steering links.
  19. Possibly one or more of the flaps in the ducts are not working. It's a common problem that the garage should be able to diagnose.
  20. Hi all, Wondering if you can help me diagnose the sound I am hearing in the video attached. Usually only hearing this when I get into my car or when I put a little pressure on it. I've checked all other sides and no similar noise. It will be going in for a service soon but wanted to see if anyone had any idea beforehand. Thanks! VID-20250529-WA0011_1.mp4

  22. My 2014 A6 C7 saloon has a problem with air con, would welcome any ideas as to what it could be please? Basically, with the climate set to lowest setting on both sides, only the drivers side gets cold and to the required temperature. The passenger side is like a normal temperature (not hot or cold). Works ok when you want heat both sides, the problem is only when you want cold, passenger side doesn't get down to temp. Audi advice: "probably needs a re-gas" but i'm pretty sure it's not that. Any ideas welcome please?
  23. The note from the Audi garage: Inspection Notes: Confirmed customers complaint of charging flap issue, checked and found actuator to be defective causing issue to occur, will require high voltage charging flap unit with actuator F496 replacing and re-checking (£390 !!!!) F496?? This should be the right Part number: 8V0862159 I'm a bit confused I'This should be the Part number: 8V0862159This should be the Part number: 8V0862159This should be the Part number: 8V0862159
  24. Hi was there any joy in getting it fixed?
  25. Hi i had the same issue - did you ever get it sorted?
  26. I thought that but wouldn't that result in cold air coming from all the vents?
  27. Thx - that’s great!
