Cutting out after 25 miles! restarts few miles cuts out again  Any ideas  Archie

A4 2004 should have an Ignition Control Module (ICM) on the Airbox, unless it has Push-Down Coilpacks and ICM delete.

ICM failure results in random misfires, hard cold start, hard hot starts. #1C Part Number 4D0 905 35. I had this problem and was difficult to diagnose, even with a scan tool.
