Allroad 2005 S-Line....new wheels?

Featured Replies

I have only owned my 2005 Allroad since last Friday but already I want to personalise her, I have seen some 19" Varrstoen rims

http://varrstoen-wheels.co.uk/wheels/apex-100/  but Im not sure if they will be suitable? Are 18" too big? Will they need spacers? Any replies much appreciated :)

Val, you need to first of all find out the PCD of the vehicle. PCD stands for pitch circle diameter and relates to the number of wheel studs the hub has and the size of the bore.

The standard wheels will have an offset as well so the wheels fit under the arches without fouling them when on full lock etc.

A quick check on google shows the all road uses a standard VAG wheel hub with a PCD of 5x112 and an offset of ET42.

As this is a common size there are lots to choose from.

Personally I'd choose something easy to clean rather than lts of spokes etc, but each to their own.
