Hus25
Hello looking for some advise from anyone who's been in the same position. I have a 2019 A6 C8 97k on the clock, today I got a red gearbox malfunction warning light which then went to a amber gearbox warning light. The car drives smooth no issues with gear changes or nothing. Drove to my mechanic who plugged it in and I have the following codes. P0C2C00 P0C2A00 P0C2800 P0C2900 My mechanic has advised its the Auxiliary Transmission Fluid Pump Motor P0C2A00. He doesn't know if its inside the gearbox or outside. He's cleared the codes and I drove home 12miles with no issues I don't want to drive anymore until I get a specialist to see it. As its a Sat I'm unable to call Audi so I'll have to wait until Monday, I've seen alot of things online regarding this issue but wanted to know if anyone has experienced this and how did they resolve it. Thank you in advance.
Optimus
I’m assuming from the fault codes this is 7 speed DSG gearbox? if that’s a yes, could be anything. best get it booked in with VAG specialist. common problems are service related and firmware related. When you get to 80k miles you can expect to see wear and tear on clutch packs resulting in communication errors with slippages and coming out of gear and the control unit having a hissy fit.
