BYX
Hi All, Only had my A3 a few months recently upgraded from a Golf. Best move I ever made. In the car there seems to be a handsfree kit fitted however there is no adapter or anything telling me what make it is so I can use it. It isnt part of the stereo and looks like it wasnt factory fitted. Can anyone help me out? thanks P.S I can send a photo if needed.

Glen
I would think that you can use it. I'm not sure how exactly as it looks aftermarket. The only real way to find out will be to have good ole fiddle and prod until you work it out. Glen.
mark
i would start by tracing the wiring and finding the control box etc which hopefully will identify a manufacturer or model number etc. Then you try and track down the user guide and instructions etc.
Tech
Looks like an Audi original to me, although its hard to tell due to the glare from the flash. Dash mounted ones were few and far between but they are exactly the same as the type fitted under the centre armrest and require a cradle specific to your phone model. Your local Audi centre will be able to let you know if it is or not, or if you can upload some better pics for me? You might have Bluetooth enabled as well. Have you tried searching for the car with your phone? You'll have to try as soon as you've switched the ignition on as the visibility period only lasts a few minuets. The default passcode is 1234 unless it has been changed.
