Niggleman Posted Sunday at 01:38 PM Posted Sunday at 01:38 PM Afternoon all, looking for help. Had the airbag light on dash, looked for solution on forum’s, done everything suggested, lastly to disconnect battery. Which I have now done. On reconnection. Air bag light, ldw , traction control, tyre pressure warning etc, etc. Now can’t do anything via MMI or is it a trip to Audi. Car 21 plate saloon. Thanks in advance.
Brian74656 Posted Sunday at 05:51 PM Posted Sunday at 05:51 PM Hi, I purchased a car soft audi v3 old reader and it has option for resetting and reading airbag codes was only £199 on amazon, something like that might be worth a try

Often get multiple faults after disconnecting the battery. Need to leave it disconnected for about 30 mins. Usually clears after driving a couple of miles. If the airbag light stays on a useful fault code reader is OBDeleven that also resets fault codes. Basic version is about £50 and pro version about £80. Since dealers charge about £100 to run a diagnostic they are worth considering.
