lescroix
Anyone know if and where the adjusters are for switching the headlights over for driving on the right ? My 2001 VW Passat has these so I would expect them to be present on the 2009 Audi A3 1.9e TDI ? Cheers
Audi Owners Club
Not too sure I'm afraid but some cars so and some don't. Best bet would be to check in your manual to see if it reference it or failing that pop the cover off the back of the light and take a look :) Let us know if you do find anything though. lescroix
I'm no expert but apparently the halogen headlights on the A3 feature reflector units as opposed to projector units and thus cannot be direction altered. Having driven the car at night and seen that the pattern looked good for driving on the right I decided to put the car in for its controle technique (French MOT, only every 2 years) anyway the car has passed the test, the guy at the test station did say that the lights were a little to the left but it has passed anyway, so all is well with the world, and I don't need to spend around 400€ for new headlights !
