Evening all,

 

I have a Bose system, CD stacker is removed for a 3.5mm Jack and iPod input.  This may not be linked, but irrespective of weather the car is on or off, the stereo is on or off I can here a constant noise from the back left door speaker, it sounds like a sort of morse code, beeping or when you receive a test message on a mobile phone near a speaker?

 

Any thoughts?

Hi Dan...welcome to the Forum

I would probably disconnect one component/lead at a time and see when the noise disappears to narrow down the cause.

It may be a case of then insulating/shielding the cable to stop the interference.

Let us know what you find.
