  1. 1 point
Got the roof wrapped and the bumper protector wrapped (need one for the dog) Also de-badged the rear and replaced chrome Audi badge with black one. Thinking of getting all the chrome done black next along with replacing the red Audi badge on front with black one
  2. Hi all, my Audi dealer has confirmed to me that this is an issue with the tyres. I was sceptical at first but they met me early morning with a technician and the manager of the dealership and we tested it thoroughly, doing turns in the cold and looking at it from the outside too. They concluded that the tyres make that noise when cold and on hard lock left or right, forward or reverse and it's a characteristic of the tyres and not a fault. It's been up on the hoist and the tyres rotated front and rear with no difference. I've had the car 15 months now and no problems otherwise so I'm going to stop worrying aboiut it and try and get some Avon ZZs when the time comes. Thanks guys Panos
  3. Hello Graeme, "You can take the Welsh......... " Just incase it came out a bit confused:- I meant a well established Audi independent specialist rather than an independent auto electrician. Another alternative to possibly find a good auto electrician (who may be able to bye pass the immobiliser) is to ask around your local classic car clubs/enthusiasts. Often a good source of practical advice. Goodcluck with it . Kind regards, Gareth.
  4. I agree with Robert, Unless you do alot of miles or take the car out for long rides on the weekend it could be tricky going for diesel, clogged DPF is never a good thing lol
  5. If you don't drive many miles petrol might be your best option.some diesel models have dpf filter and give problems if used on short journeys.
