    Changed the oil and filter today at 9000k miles since the last mileage interval service and noticed the filter used by the VAG specialist has a soft seal, whereas the Bosch one I bought doesn't. Any thoughts on this guys?

    Yes I think its best to get it to a specialist and let them tell me what is wrong, it could be even worse than first feared which I think it is. Thank you for all the help and I will keep you informed of the outcome Regards Anthony

    Hi. There is no warnings on dash. Seller stated that is compatible with CAN system.
